Shut It Down!
The Boom Bap Radio crew, minus J-Crush, were undaunted by the shutdown of the Federal government. Nope, nothing could stop this Hip-Hop engine. Not House Republicans, not Miley’s lizard-like tongue, not even a protester with gasoline drawers could deter the C.O., Angry Engineer and Masta Talka on this day. The BBR crew was extra inquisitive and wondered aloud why millionaires want to de-fund the Affordable Healthcare Act, why DC police can’t stop a car driven in a circle by a deranged person without using deadly force, even why Nelly was singing R&B in a leather outfit. But no one could question our selection of Hip-Hop and we were going, going; back, back; to Cali, Cali in this episode.  Ice Cube, Souls of Mischief, Hieroglypics, Cypress Hill, Pac, Snoop and The Jurassic 5 were part of the engine driving this funky runaway train. Coming at you like a pack of marauding motorcycle cops and cracking your driver’s side window – It’s Boom Bap Radio.
