No Pictures, No Pictures (with Black People)
On the heels of the lifelong ban of Los Angeles Clippers’ owner Donald Sterling questions abound and the Boom Bap Radio crew were just the group of sleuths to delve into the world of an 80-year-old, racist Billionaire. We wondered how a bigot manages to get a lifetime award from the NAACP? Is it because he paid millions for equally discriminating against Blacks, Hispanics and Asians? Is it because he gives his 30-year-old besty and silly rabbit millions of dollars, but won’t let her floss with Black folks? Racism was on parade for this show, but each query seemed to raise even more troubling questions. Why is Toronto’s Mayor taking a Crack break? Where is Malaysian Flight 370? Why did Christ Bearer cut off his penis? Hmmm. Public Enemy, Rob Base & the late DJ E-Z Rock, MC Lyte, Snoop, Pharrell and even Erick Sermon and Red tried to help us solve these mysteries. Hey buddy, why are you going to turn our city into F’ing N-town? – It’s Boom Bap Radio.
